Food For Thought

Conversations with our Father is one simple way of showing our devotion to Him.  How can we expect Him to move in our lives if we never communicate with Him?  Would we have a relationship with our friends or family if we never spoke with them?  How would they ever know that we even care if we paid them no attention?  The simple answer is they wouldn't.  They would be offended and very hurt.  Our Heavenly Father is always waiting for us to call out to Him, not only in bad times but also in the good times.  When we talk with Christ, we are one step closer to building our relationship with Him.  So here are some questions to ponder: Do I desire a closer relationship with my Savior?  Are my desires more important than what Father may want for me?  Have I had a heart to heart conversation with my Lord today?
